If the driving time appears long, we take into account the frequent stops, passage through villages and different terrains, the landscape is extremely varied and changing.

Day 1: NAIROBI - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
(3 hours’ drive)

Meet & Greet in the morning at Nairobi International Airport and thereafter depart for Lake Nakuru National Park on a road featuring spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley (the African Rift). Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park and set up camp in the middle of the park in time for lunch. Enjoy lunch and thereafter embark on a game drive all afternoon in search of animals till the shores of the lake where several hundreds of species of birds are present including thousands of flamingos. Also present is the Rothschild giraffe and two species of rhinoceros can be observed. Drive back to the camp at sunset. Dinner and night spent in a tent.

Day 2: AMBOSELI - LAKE NAIVASHA
(1 ½ hours’ drive)

Depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha, driving through the park. Arrive and set up camp at a camping site in the shade of large yellow-barked acacia trees, not far from the shores of Lake Naivasha. Depart for a boat ride on the lake in the afternoon trying to approach hippos in order to observe them from a close distance. Then visit Crescent Island on foot; a peninsula whose only resident animals are wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and various birds such as hummingbirds, weavers, hornbills, ibises, and fish eagles . Crescent Island is a really special place where it’s possible to walk on foot among wild animals. Return back to the camp by boat, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
(5 hours’ drive)

Depart after breakfast for Masai Mara taking a road through village tracks and grandiose landscapes of the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive and set up camp and enjoy lunch at a site situated at the tip of the Mara Triangle, an area in the north of Masai Mara which is the most protected and least visited .Depart for a game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Drive back for dinner. The night falls giving way to the sounds of the bush in the background.

Day 4 and 5: MASAI MARA

This day is dedicated to the exploration of Masai Mara. Wake up with your eyes on the savannah, have an English breakfast and depart to follow the winding course of the Mara River before the sun is too high. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and make a change of terrain gravitating towards the endless plains in the south by the Tanzania border. Drive back to camp at sunset. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI (6 ½ hours’ drive)

Depart for a last morning game drive in the park, drive back to the camp for breakfast. Depart for Nairobi in the late morning. Stop to enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Arrive at Nairobi International Airport in the early evening hours for your return flight.
