Day 1 : NAIROBI - MERU
(5 ½ hours’ drive)
Meet & Greet in the morning at Nairobi airport and depart by road bypassing Mount Kenya to the West. Arrive at Meru and check in for lunch at Murera Springs Eco Lodge. It is a small charming lodge involved in conservation efforts in Meru National Park, one of the wildest and most beautiful animal sanctuaries in Kenya. Embark on a game drive in the afternoon in search of rare animals such as Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and the black rhino ... return back to the Lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight in the heart of Meru National Park.
Day 2 : MERU
This is a day for exploring, tracking and observing animals in Meru National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and thereafter return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : MERU – SAMBURU
(3 hours’ drive)
Enjoy a last game drive at sunrise and depart after breakfast for Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive and check in at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Depart in the afternoon for Samburu Game Reserve and Buffalo Springs Reserve along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Drive back at sunset to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : SAMBURU
This day is dedicated to the exploration of Samburu Reserve. Search for and observe a rich and unique wildlife made up of hundreds of different species of birds, reticulated giraffes, Gravy Zebras, Grant's gazelle, gerenuk gazelles, impalas, elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs ... Mount Kenya covered by its bright glacier can be seen in the background. Accommodation: Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 5 : SAMBURU - OL PEJETA
(2 ½ hours’ drive)
Last game drive in Samburu Game Reserve at sunrise. After breakfast, depart for the Laikipia plateau. Arrive at Ol Pejeta, the East African reserve with the largest black rhinoceros population of over a hundred. Check in at Serena Sweet Water Tented Camp for lunch, a luxurious tented camp. Visit the reserve in the afternoon for a game drive and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : OL PEJETA - ABERDARE
(2 ½ hours’ drive)
Depart at dawn for a game drive in the reserve and after breakfast head towards the Aberdare mountain range. Arrive for lunch at Aberdare Country Club which overlooks the Aberdare. Transfer in the mid-afternoon to The Ark Lodge, an observation Lodge on the edge of the Aberdares equatorial forest built entirely of wood on several levels overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick that attracts forest animals throughout the day and night . An alarm bell connected to the rooms notifies guests of animal visits at the water holes from the very common to the rarest ; a single ring for a buffalo, two for elephants , three black rhino, four for leopard, five for the bongo, an endemic antelope that has become very rare.
Day 7 : ABERDARE
After breakfast depart for a foray into the Aberdares National Park. The Aberdares are a chain of high mountains between 1800 meters and 4000 meters altitude covered with primary forest. Several spectacular waterfalls can be observed in the forest among them the 273 m high Karuru Falls. The forests are the habitat of many animals including elephants and buffaloes as well as antelopes and monkeys. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Drive back to Nyeri and check in for dinner and overnight at the Lodge Aberdare Country Club.
Day 8 : ABERDARE – SOLIO RANCH - CRATERE MENENGAI
(3 heures de liaison)
After breakfast, depart for a visit of the private Solio Ranch reserve located on the animal migration corridor that is between Aberdare and Laikipia. Enjoy a picnic lunch and depart in the early afternoon for Nakuru on a road plunging down the Great Rift Valley in a spectacular way. Transit through the Thomson falls before crossing the Equator line. Arrive in the early evening for check-in at Nakuru Maili Saba Camp, a boutique camp perched on the Menengai crater whose vapor clouds points to permanent volcanic activity underground. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 : LAC NAKURU
Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru. Visit the Lake Nakuru National Park and search for animals up to the lake shores where several hundreds of species of birds are present including thousands of flamingos. Also present is the Rothschild giraffe and two species of rhinoceros can be observed. Exit the park before sunset and drive on a dirt road to the Sleeping Warrior Camp for overnight (30 minutes’ drive). It is a luxurious small tented camp tucked away from mass tourism and is located in the Soysambu private reserve, built in middle of a spectacular landscape of volcanic hills near Lake Naivasha.
Day 10 : LAC ELEMENTAITA - MASSAI MARA
(6 ½ hours’ drive)
After breakfast, depart by road for Masai Mara and through village tracks and grandiose landscapes of the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive and check in for lunch at Salt Springs Mara Camp, a permanent tented camp overlooking the Mara River, at the tip of Musiara Conservancy and the Mara Triangle. This area forms part of the less visited Northern area of the park. Embark on a game drive in Masai Mara Reserve until sunset. Return back to the camp for dinner. The night falls giving way to sounds of the bush in the background.
Day 11 & 12 : MASSAI MARA
This day is dedicated to the exploration of Masai Mara Game Reserve. Wake up with your sights on the savannah, enjoy an English breakfast and depart to follow the winding course of the Mara River before the sun is too high. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and make a change of terrain, gravitate towards the south to the endless plains by the Tanzanian border and the Siria Escarpment. Drive back to Salt Springs Mara Camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.
Day 13 : MASSAI MARA - NAIROBI
(6 hours’ drive)
Embark on a last game drive in the park in search of Masai Mara wildlife and depart in the late morning with a picnic lunch for Nairobi. Arrive early evening in Nairobi airport for your return flight.
