Program and itinerary:
If the driving time appears long, we take into account the frequent stops, passage through villages and different terrains, the landscape is extremely varied and changing.
Day 1 : Nairobi - Massai Mara
(6 heures de liaison)
Meet & Greet in the morning at Nairobi Airport and depart by road for Masai Mara through villages tracks and grandiose landscapes of the Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive and check in for lunch at JK Mara Camp, a permanent tented camp located in the Talek River area Depart in the late afternoon for an exploration of the park. Return back for dinner. The night falls giving way to the sounds of the bush in the background.
DayJour 2 & 3 : MASSAI MARA
This day is dedicated to the exploration of Masai Mara. Wake up with your sights on the savannah, enjoy an English breakfast and depart to follow the winding course of the Mara River before the sun is too high. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and make a change of terrain towards the endless plains in the southeast bordered by the Loita hills to track large herds of herbivores. Drive back to JK Mara Camp, dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : Massai Mara - Lac Naivasha
(5 hours’ drive)
Depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha. Arrive and check-in at Lake Naivasha Country Club in time for lunch. The lodge is situated in the shade of large yellow acacia trees on the very banks of Lake Naivasha. Depart in the afternoon to approach the hippos on the lake by boat. Then visit Crescent Island on foot; a peninsula whose only resident animals are wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and various birds such as hummingbirds, weavers, hornbills, ibises, and fish eagles . Crescent Island is a really special place where it’s possible to walk on foot among wild animals. Return back to the lodge by boat, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 : Lac Naivasha - Amboseli

Enjoy breakfast and depart for Amboseli through the park, the road climbs up the Nairobi plateau overlooking the landscape of the Rift Valley and then heads towards Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Amboseli National Park that extends to the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro as vast marshy plains fed continuously by underground seepage from Kilimanjaro’s snowmelt where vast herds of wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes and elephants gather. Animals can be seen from afar off as the vegetation cover is considerably reduced. Check in and enjoy lunch at Kibo Safari Camp, a permanent tented camp facing Kilimanjaro. Depart for the park all afternoon in search for animals until sunset. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 : Amboseli
This day is dedicated to the exploration of Amboseli. Depart at dawn for a safari driving along the winding Enkongo marsh that is permanently fed by underground seepage from the snowmelt of Mount Kilimanjaro where herds of elephants concentrate, crossing to the edge of the Ol Tukai palm forest a lions’ hide-out, where they bait for prey. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. View the sunset on Mount Kilimanjaro from the top of Observation Hill and drive back to Kibo Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 : Amboseli - Tsavo Ouest
(3 hours’ drive)
Depart at dawn for a game drive in search of Amboseli’s animals. Return to the Lodge for breakfast then depart for Tsavo West National Park. Arrive for lunch at Rhino Valley Lodge, a camp consisting of bungalow huts overlooking a beautiful park landscape. Depart for a game drive in the park in the middle of the afternoon until dusk. Visit the famous Mzima Springs; a resurgence of crystal clear waters, filtered by Tsavo’s volcanic rocks, forming pools inhabited by hippos and crocodiles, then explore the Roaring Rocks site on foot and admire the panoramic views and the sun setting over the Chyulu Hills and Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 : Tsavo Ouest – Tsavo Est
(2 hours’ drive)
Depart at dawn in search for animals in Rhino Valley. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Exit Tsavo West Park at "Man-Eaters Gate" near the famous Tsavo Bridge. Towards the end of the 19th Century, workers on the railway line were attacked by man-eating lions at this same area! Arrive for lunch and check in at Sentrim Tsavo Camp, a small permanent tented camp wonderfully melted into the natural environment of the park. Depart early in the afternoon on game drive in search for animals along the seasonal river Voi to Aruba waterhole. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 : Tsavo Est - Diani Beach
(3 hours’ drive)
Have breakfast at the break of dawn and depart for a game drive towards the northern part of the park heading towards the Galana River, through a path that winds along the seasonal Mbololo river bed, a tributary of the Galana River and all the way to the Lugard’s falls. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and depart back for the coast through the park. Expected arrival in your hotel is in the early hours of the evening. Hotel: Diani Blue Hotel
Day 10 & 11: Diani Beach
Days spent at own leisure at the Diani Blue Hotel on Half board basis.
Day 12 : Plage et retour
Transfer to Mombasa airport for your return flight.
