Day 1 : LAC MANYARA
(2 hours’ drive)
Morning departure from Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. It is also a reserve sheltering forest elephants and an unusual population of tree climbing lions. The birds inhabiting the shores of the lake are of an extraordinary variety. Each year hundreds of species of migratory birds nest at Manyara. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and search for animals all afternoon. Exit the park at the end of the afternoon by taking the road criss-crossing the escarpment Great Rift escarpment and ascending the high Ngorongoro plateau. Arrive at Ngorongoro Farm House at sunset. Check-in, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : EYASI
(2 hours’ drive)
Depart after breakfast in the direction of Lake Eyasi. Visit a traditional Datoga village, one of the oldest ethnic groups of the Great Rift Valley. Meet with one of the last pygmy hunter-gatherers in Tanzania; the Hadzabes. Followed by a demonstration of hunting skills with bow and arrow, discover their ancestral customs. Return to Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : CRATERE NGORONGORO

Depart after breakfast for the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. Ascend by the trail on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater through a primary forest up to a marvellous panoramic point of view overlooking the 600 meter deep caldera of over 18 Km in diameter. The track then descends to the floor of the crater where almost all of African wildlife is gathered. Search for animals in the crater, enjoy a picnic lunch and go up the crater in late afternoon by a steep trail. Arrive and check in at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, a lodge that wonderfully overlooks the world's largest caldera. Dinner and overnight
Day 4 : NGORONGORO - LAKE NDUTU
(3 hours’ drive, crossing through the reserve)
Depart after lunch for the Ndutu plains at the border of the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. Check in for lunch at Ndutu Kati Kati Camp, a permanent canvas camp set up in the heart of the Ndutu plains. Search for animals around the Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek until sunset. The grasslands of Lake Ndutu attract several hundred thousand wildebeest every year from December to March, and have a catalytic effect on the births of herds that take place at this precise time of year. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 : NDUTU - SERENGETI
(1 hours’ drive through the reserve)
Embark on a last morning game drive in search of the animals and depart for Serengeti National Park. Make entry into the immense plains of the Serengeti, the scene of the world's largest herbivore migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Serengeti National Park and search for animals until late afternoon. Arrive at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp at sunset. Check in for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : SERENGETI
Day spent exploring the park, tracking and observing animals of the Serengeti National Park until sunset. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Drive back to Serengeti Kati Kati Camp at sunset.

Day 7 : SERENGETI NORTH
(2 hours’ drive through the park)
Leave the camp at sunrise for a game drive, return for breakfast. Head North to the border of Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya in search of the Great migration. Arrive at Lodge Lobo Wildlife for check-in and lunch.
Day 8 : SERENGETI - LAC NATRON
(5 hours’ drive)
Depart after breakfast through the park for the Loliondo plateau and Lake Natron. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Descend the Great Rift Valley escarpment towards Lake Natron which appears on the horizon as you approach. The temperature gradually increases on the trail descending to the foot of the Ol Donyio Lengai volcano (Mount Masai 2878 m) whose slopes are covered with soda ash and lava that give the terrain a lunar aspect. Arrive at Lake Natron Tented Camp in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight. Late afternoon
Day 9 : LAC NATRON
After breakfast depart on a walk to the Ngare Sero waterfall. Enjoy bathing under several waterfalls that drain into a gorge of the Rift escarpment. Return back to the camp for lunch. Walk in the afternoon to the shores of Lake Natron where thousands of flamingos and hundreds of pelicans are gathered. The lake has a high concentration of alkaline salts which has led the development of a microscopic alga essential for the survival and reproduction of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.
Day 10 : LAC NATRON - ARUSHA
(6 hours’ drive)
Depart after breakfast on a trail that winds along the Great Rift escarpment to Lake Manyara. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Return back to Arusha by road. Arrival expected in late afternoon.
